Tristan’s 3rd birthday
Help us celebrate (all month long)
Dear Family & Friends,
Tristan’s 3rd birthday will be October 20. Tristan touched many lives in his short forty hours of life. I would like to ask for your help in celebrating his 3rd birthday. I am requesting that you do a “random act of kindness” in Tristan’s honor. (If you have seen the movie “Pay It Forward” think along those lines). You can do anything and be as creative as you would like, for example, visit a shut-in, rake a neighbor’s yard, donate a toy to a hospital N.I.C.U. or P.I.C.U., pay for the persons lunch at the drive-thru behind you, compliment or smile at someone.
Now, here is the fun part, I would love to see how many people and how far away Tristan is continuing to touch. After you perform or receive a “random act of kindness” in Tristan’s honor please visit www.sevenpals.blogspot.com and tell us about your experience. You can leave your name, initials, or remain anonymous but please leave your city and state. Please help us see how many lives Tristan Jude is still touching.
Thank you for helping us celebrate and remembering all the positive ways that Tristan is still with us.
Love,
Dennis, Tracy, Annie, Abbie, Trey, and Ellie Paloucek
Please make a copy of this letter and leave it with the recipient so that they may have a chance to “Pay It Forward “ for Tristan.

A poem for Tristan, from his big sister Abbie.

One Last Goodbye
Death is an emotional thing-
Blood everywhere
Bathroom,
Kitchen,
Bedroom floor,
Mom’s passed out in the bathroom
Nothing to do but stare
Dad’s in Tennessee
He is rushing home
Grandma’s on vacation
She won’t answer the phone
Mom finally gets taken in an ambulance
We stayed with Uncle Paul
We couldn’t go to sleep, knowing something was seriously wrong
At the crack of dawn the phone rang
It was mom, high on medicine
She had bad news
The baby was sick
We went to school with worry
We were “reassured” in a hurry
After school we went to visit,
Mom, dad, and Tristan
Dad greeted us with bloodshot eyes…what was wrong?
Mom was too exhausted to talk to us-Why was she crying?
I could sense the sadness in the air…why?
Everyone cleared the room
Only a few remained
Tristan was sick…Not any hope…Death would be the path
We sat and cried until the tears couldn’t roll
I held the poor baby in my arms
Seizures he was having-Did I hurt him?
We sat and cried until tears couldn’t roll
We knew we had to let him go
God wanted him right now
We had to stay strong
But why him, since when did he become sick…he was so perfect
Maybe that’s why god wanted him but why my brother?
Goodbye Tristan! With love, Abbie
